Restoration: What Is It?
It is simply obeying God’s word for the first time, or returning to God’s word after leaving it (Jer. 6:16)
Restoration – apokatatasis = to turn back, to return, movement, back to the point of departure, restoration of things to its former condition
Hebrews 12:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle [dwelling] of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Voice from Heaven: Intimacy with God restored!

1. Restoration: This is a Processing
And he looked up and said, “ I see men like trees walking.” Then Jesus put HIS hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. MARK 8: 24 – 25
This is a Processing.
Love, know, understand, search the truth (Prov. 23:23; Jn. 7:17; 8:32; Acts 17:11; Eph. 3:4; 5:17; 2 Thess. 2:10-12; 2 Tim. 2:15)
Plant the seed of God’s word (Lk. 8:11; Jn. 3:5; Ac. 2:42,47)
Follow the pattern (2 Tim. 1:13)
Speak as God’s word (Jer. 8:20; 1 Pe
Self searching – Be honest and know who you are and admit your weaknesses. COL 3 : 3
Priorities - Love God, make HIM your first priority in life. Colossian 3 : 1 – 2
Prayer – Individual and corporate MARK 8 : 22 -25
Need private time with the savior, HIS word that proceed out of HIS mouth, give light to the receiver for the recovery of sight. 2 KING 6 : 17
2. Restorian does the will of God
There is a NT “pattern,” it can be found, we are to hold it fast (1 Cor. 4:17; 7:17; 11:1-2; 14:34; 16:1-2; Rom. 6:17; 16:17; 2 Thess. 1:15; 2 Tim. 1:13)
We still have God’s word today (1 Pet. 1:25)
It was GOD (personally present) in CHRIST, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with and committing to us the message of reconciliation – of the restoration to favor
God is seeking for man who is after HIS OWN HEART - Who will do ALL HIS WILL.
Matthew 7 : 21..but he who does the will of My father.

3. Restoration is the first love
Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Revelation 2 : 4 – 5
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place – unless you repent. Acts 3 : 19 – 21
If you have been living life independently from God, you need to repent – turn away from your independent and turn to God.
When your Christianity become a routine, it is time to repent and turn to God
Repentance mean turn away from doing your own thing, priorities your relationship with the Lord.
The Lord’s church / Christianity in time was abandoned by some (not all) through apostasy (Acts 20:30; 2 Thess. 2:3-4; 1 Tim. 4:1ff; 2 Tim. 3:1ff);

Restoration: Is It Possible?
Genuine change. Useful in the service
“...and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren” (Lk 22:32).

Mind on Heaven (2 Pet 3:13-14)
The Restored Are Not Second Class Citizens!
