 Sermon What's in Your Hand?


Introduction:

As believers, we find solace in knowing that our lives are ultimately in the hands of our loving and sovereign God. Today, we will delve into Scripture to explore what it means to place our lives, our hopes, and our futures in the hands of our Heavenly Father.

1: Judgment and Divine Justice (Romans 12:19)

God holds the ultimate authority to judge and execute justice. Those who have wronged us will be held accountable by Him, and we can trust in His righteous judgment.


2: Eternal Life for Those Who Seek Him (John 10:28)

In God's hands lies the promise of eternal life for all who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice, we have the assurance of salvation and the hope of spending eternity with Him.


3: The Direction of Human History (Isaiah 46:9)

God is the orchestrator of human history, and He holds the future in His hands. Despite the chaos and uncertainty of the world, we can trust that He is working all things according to His perfect plan.


4: The Salvation and Redemption of Humanity (Ephesians 2:8)

Our salvation is a gift from God, bestowed upon us by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. In His hands, we find redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation with Him.

God offers us a peace that transcends human understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In times of turmoil and uncertainty, we can find refuge in His comforting presence.

The Lord is our shield and protector, watching over us day and night. In His hands, we find safety and security, knowing that He is our ever-present help in times of trouble.


7: The Daily Provision (Matthew 6:26)

God is the provider of all our needs, both physical and spiritual. Just as He cares for the birds of the air and the flowers of the field, He will also provide for His beloved children.


8: Comfort in Times of Distress (2 Corinthians 1:3)

God is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. In His hands, we find solace and strength, even in the midst of life's trials and tribulations.


9: The Promise of His Constant Presence (Matthew 28:20)

Lastly, we can take comfort in the promise of God's constant presence in our lives. He has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age, guiding us, sustaining us, and walking alongside us every step of the way.
