1. Father be example your children

One of the best ways to show love for your children is to guide and teach them.

Dt 6:6,7 …words in your heart, U shall teach them diligently to your children, U shall talk of them when U sit in your house, walk by the way, lie down, rise up

The way to guide and teach your children is through example. The way to show love for your children is to be a good role model. Therefore, it is essential for a father to be a good role model and set good examples for his sons. It is also essential for a father to discipline his children when necessary. The way to do this is by being a good communicator. It is essential for a father to explain to his children why certain actions are unacceptable. In addition, it is essential for a father to create a safe atmosphere for his children to express themselves.

2. Father give Family Times

Worship Time – read Bible, pray, talk about God and things of God, their questions

3. Father be loving leader

Godly husbands and fathers need to fulfill the roles of loving leader, provider and protector, teacher, mentor and intercessor for their families.

As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience. (Titus 2:1-2 NLT)

If God blesses us with children, our privilege and responsibility as fathers is again demonstrated in, and regulated by the Word of God.
